Our worlds have overlapped all along—a testament to God’s perfect timing. We grew up just miles apart, yet didn’t cross paths until college. Our history inadvertently began in the fifth grade, captured in a photograph from a joint field trip between Woodland and Christ Methodist. Who knew the Biz Town DJ and bank teller were destined to fall in love?! Trey and my brother were soccer teammates in high school, often paired together as passing partners in pregame warmups. You can imagine Grayson’s surprise when I brought Trey home for the first time! These subtle moments, and many more, cultivated a sense of familiarity that made our connection feel natural and effortless.

Our sophomore year, a joint KD and Tri Delta date party finally brought us together. I invited Miller as my date, and he suggested to meet up with Trey at the pregame—so I guess we have him to thank for everything! I brought Trey to the next date party, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

Throughout our seven years together, we’ve navigated seasons of growth and loss, always finding strength in each another. He's my favorite pickleball partner, my favorite game day date, my biggest supporter, and my best friend. There is no one I would rather lean on and I feel incredibly lucky to become his wife.
